This is a thread devoted to the official business of Fredericksburg. To start, I'm going to give you a basic idea of what Fredericksburg looks like.
Fredericksburg is a large inland city, with trading routes going to almost all of the ports in Bosune. At the center of the city is the Coal Market, so named after Iridia's chief export. All trade passes through the Coal Market, which is regulated by government officials. Most imported raw materials will then pass through to Lokun, and most luxury materials will go to the Gold Market in Fredericksburg, the largest shopping center in the Country.
If you would like to open a business in the Gold Market, or participate in trading in the Coal Market, please let me know by PM or by posting in this thread.
The ports that surround Fredericksburg are many and large, but the largest is located on the very tip of Bosune Peninsula, and handles goods from nearby foreign countries. Many of the other ports are involved in bringing in goods from our colonies as well, so this port is special due to its devotion to foreign goods only.
If you would like to be involved in bringing in resources or managing a port, please let me know by PM, or by posting in this thread.
Well, I wish you all happy exploring of beautiful Fredericksburg and its surrounding areas, and I hope that together we can make Fredericksburg a name known in even the most remote nations.

Some popular clubs in Fredericksburg:
EYE
The best there is. Legend has it that you don't get in here unless you're important enough that at least fifteen people have sworn to kill you. While this is debatable, however, the club's real exclusive nature is not. If you play music in this club, you're either destined for fame or you got a lot of strings pulled for you. And if you cook here, you're dreaming. Only one chef has cooked in the history of the club, and all we know about him is that he's good at it. Good luck getting in.
Taillevent
Only slightly less exclusive than EYE, if only due to the fact that there are a lot fewer aristocrats whose idea of a good time involves three different forks. A very sophisticated Tarunian restaraunt, famous for its quiet but talented musicians. It's said that the only thing that its owners really care about is beating EYE at something. Again, good luck getting in.
Bosune Shores
The Bosune Shores Club is famous for its fish. Located directly on one of the most beautiful beaches just outside Fredericksburg, every course you eat there will have been caught this morning. And when I say every course, I mean it; they serve nothing but fish. The music is nice, old-style Bosunian music, with more than a little Jazz influence, but the musical sounds of the classic Bosunian instruments mesh well with the more modern piano and sax. You're definitely more likely to get in here, but not without a reservation.
Lokun Beat
Modelled after the simple industrial style of Lokun clubs, the most noticeable thing about this club is its music: some of the most flawless execution of that rythmic, rolling beat that Lokun is so famous for. The food is simple fare, but it's done well; so well, indeed, that the chef, Groupofdogs Baseball, is internationally accaimed. Nice place to drop in, grab a beer, and relax. "Drop in," that is, in the metaphorical sense. You're not getting in here unless you make your reservation at least a month ahead of time.
¡Æ!'s Pad!
The only club in Fredericksburg where the band came before the club. Also the only place without food: there's a bar and a really big dance floor. The club's experienced a huge surge in popularity recently after local authorities launched an investigation into the question of whether the hired dancers were being hired for anything else in the back rooms, a rumor that indeed turned out to be true. Because of threat of serious unrest should they close the club, they simply imposed extremely strict watch at all times. However, there remains an honourable dishonor in being able to say "I partied at ¡Æ!'s Pad."
d**n Good Food!
Exactly what it calls itself: d**n good food. Focused almost entirely on bringing in the best dishes from all over Micras, the only notable band that has ever played there was Gastro, the creator of new album "Music to eat crickets with." It appears, unfortunately for the diners, that this album was written directly from their experience at d**n Good Food!. But don't let this discourage you from trying it out. Reservations are required, but luckily the Maitre D is entirely willing to tell you the menu for any given day.
