Tell me about some endings and prefixes, please Serbo-Croatian knows 7 cases (Nominative, Genitive, Dative, Accusative, Instrumental, Locative, Vocative) The language has 3 genders (masculine, female, neuter). Most masculine nouns end in Consonant (some male persons in -a), most female nouns in -a (some abstracts in -ost and a few in a consonant). Neuter nouns end in -o or -e. Verbs end in -ti. Serbo-Croatian has a verbal aspect. Perfective verbs are prefixed piti (to drink imp.) and napiti (to drink something out pf.). Main tenses is Present tense with several conjugations. Present Perfect as main tense of the past formed by form present tense of to be plus particible active ending -o (masculine), -la (female) -lo (neuter) or -li plural. Future is with short form of to want (htjeti) plus infinitive Adjectives have 3 genders and are declined in all seven cases. Masculine end in Consonant, female in -a and neuter in -o (or after sybillants -e). Advers end in -o This is only very describtive Feel free to ask more! Serbo-Croation has many consonants, there are even words without vocals like crn (black) etc.

Tell me how to form the vocative, please. You could add that case to Irídiaiga. Vocative is used when are addressing a person directly. It has distinct endings for the male and female in the singular. Masculine: -e. (Example: Gospodine! = Hej Mister!) If a name ends in a sybyllant, end is -u = Gospodine Djindjicu! Mr Djindjic!) Female : Ending in o. Example: Zdravo Vesno! (Hello Vesna!) In Neuter and plural the forms are like nominative plural.

I'm something of an amateur linguist: I can use IPA, XSAMPA, CXS, Kirshenbaum.
I'm most knowleadgeable about phonology (consonant assimilation, vowel harmony, etc.), but I'm also pretty good with morphosyntactic alignment, lexicology, and verb moods. I've got some good experience with noun cases.
I also speak decent Spanish, so I've got an understanding of translation.
I'm not sure what I'm applying for, but use my skills as you will. Fiat!

Excellent! We should work together on the conlang! You sound more experienced than me, but I have an idea of where I want to bring this conlang. Maybe you could make sure that what I have written is comprehensible to other conlangers

Alright. For now I'll take the phonology and try to make sure it's balanced, plus get it in IPA.
Is there a particular language you are trying to make it similar to, or a specific "flavor" you want it to have?
